Roger, a born Australian, who at a tender age of 3 years travelled around with his parents and siblings to other countries like Germany, South Africa and finally South West Africa now named Namibia. Growing up in Africa gave Roger the love and background he now has for the bush and it's creatures. All timber he uses is sourced from fallen trees and recycled timber from home renovations. Roger has developed over the years great skill and creativity in crafting his "Waskow" pens. Collectors of pens have already added the "Waskow" pen to their collection. In his own words Roger often comments on his woodcraft saying "I am seriously passionate about every single item I make and let the wood talk to me. I use all my imagination and the way the grain of the timber runs as well as skill to create each piece individually. Nothing is more exciting than imagining what a pen will look like with a certain timber and then sourcing that timber in the bush. That's half the fun of hand making the pen.
